IDEAS: Amelie's #fusionaesthetic includes touches like heterochromatic eyes, extra arms, or real sharp clothes. She does tend to prefer her fusions be feminine or at least really pretty, as well.

If we went for these two fusing, Audinite or Diancite could be cute... or we could go for one of the Charizardites, because FIRE and flying and if that aesthetic carried through at all, it could be downright hilarious. (Or Venusaurite, because flowers. And also potential hilarity.)

IDEAS: I have some hypothetical fusions here for some of Walter's standing CR (and some CR that does not yet stand), for an idea of what I go for.

Walter tends to add to fusions:
- a weapon sort of like a sword in some way
- fins or fish scales, possibly a merperson-like "water form"
- powers related to light, and/or a melee specialty
- a personality that is really blunt and doesn't care about being polite

Gem-wise, his fusions' gems tend to be one of: blue, related somehow to water (found beside water etc), or of similar composition to diaboleite, but they could also just be arbitrary/based on the fusion's looks idk man.

EXTRAS: WALTER IS...not super into the idea of fusion. Like, he gets it makes you powerful, but he's not super jazzed to try it out, because he's dealt with fusion in other contexts before and his feelings are...mixed. It would take close CR to make a fusion happen.

BUT THAT'S NO REASON NOT TO COME UP WITH 'EM ANYWAYS I love coming up with fusions. Hit me.

IDEAS: All of Berry's fusions have something strange about their arms - Turquoise's arms split into two at the elbow, Morganite had wings instead of arms, and Aventurine had four arms total. Berry is all about the #armaesthetic, apparently.
EXTRAS: Little rusty at fusion but wants to try again!

IDEAS: Virgil definitely lends himself to a beautiful and strong fusion, one likely to have more hands than anything else. He’s a mechanic, a weapon involving something heavy and blunt, electric, or his (not yet summoned) Sickle would be best. Gems like coral, volcanic stones, magnetic stones, or other jaspers or sea glass would be best.


EXTRAS: Virgil has a tendency to be very focused- he would give in the stronger personality, possibly lose himself, for the sake of the experiment (which is how he would likely treat a fusion.) But given a good partner his aggressiveness and imbalance would make for a dangerous fusion, but one that would hold together.

IDEAS: #gothaesthetic is the default for anything Anri is involved in, thanks to her power. If she's willing to fuse - a somewhat tricky prospect - the result is almost certainly going to look like some kind of bizarre subculture goth.

IDEAS: Probably anything with Cirno will have some sort of icy appearance or weapon with it.
EXTRAS: Cirno's never fused and still has a lot going through her head from her previous games and missing her family. But those thoughts would be running through her head like crazy but get her focused and she'd be alright!

Character: Nagachika Hideyoshi
GEM: Mookaite Jasper
IDEAS: Hide would bring a healing ability to the table, but it's still very new and not very strong. He also has horrible fashion taste so anyone fusing with him may need to deal with the fact that their clothing as a fusion is probably going to be hideous. Also his shield and characteristics that are focused more on defensive strategies and saving others rather than being an offensive fighter.
EXTRAS: Fusion is an idea that Hide is a little leery of. It sounds cool in theory but the actual idea of fusing with someone (except maybe Kaneki) is really strange to him. But if the situation deems it necessary he'll probably be willing to try fusion with anyone if he thinks it'll have some benefit.

Character: Donatello Hamato
GEM: Taafetite
IDEAS: OH GEEZ WELL.

Donatello, for starters, is from a point in his canon where he got infected by a mutagen virus which in canon turned him into an eight foot tall Godzilla expy with glowing red eyes. Said mutagen has caused him varying degrees of problems in his subsequent games and he doesn't like talking about it. He also doesn't like talking about thething his soul can apparently manifest into outside of his body, since he never heard of the Ninja Tribunal either during his canon point or after in his past games.

So naturally I feel his fusions should include aspects of these forms in some fashion, because This Is His General Luck. Also his bo in some respect, since it's his weapon. Long-ranged weapon fusions would work pretty well for him.

EXTRAS: Don is very wary of fusions, since it basically involves trusting someone with, among other things, memories. His greatest worry is fusing with someone and then losing himself to said fusion because of said memories causing problems. So his fusions, depending on the other fused, will either defuse fast or be Sugilite/Malachite levels of fun!

At some point we should have this happen so that Harley can see more of what her other self did to him. But they've already hashed it out so there's no hurry.

Character: Kaneki Ken
GEM: Pietersite
IDEAS: Kaneki's already got the power of quick regeneration from wounds and danger sense under his belt, as well as gem sight that allows him to spot the "auras" of gems and gem monsters, so that could be useful. His already discovered weapon is a flail of sorts as well.
EXTRAS: Kaneki would be very hesitant to EVER fuse with anyone due to the secret he keeps and not wanting anyone to get in his mind and find that out. It would make fusing with him difficult unless you were super close, and even then he'd try very hard to keep most of himself sectioned off. Not impossible to fuse with, of course, just...difficult. And his first fusion is honestly probably going to be accidental because that's just his life.

(Though I really want him to fuse eventually because I haven't gotten to play with it yet...)

GEM: Kyanite
IDEAS: Komasan's powers involve fire and roombas. Putting his eyebrows into consideration, a fire motif for fusions is pretty obvious, I've already had people come up with some amazing ideas. His weapon is also a paddle ball (yes, really) so uh...if you like creative weapon combos, there you go. Because Komasan is a dog, all fusions will end up some manner of furry abomination, so if your character likes animals, they're in luck???
EXTRAS: I got some upcoming fusion ideas listed on his power page in my journal because you people are great. Here's a gif!

GEM: Blue Fluorite (Dome symbol, cheek)
IDEAS: A lot of her abilities and planned abilities are based on either computers or game mechanics, so that could be fun to play with.
EXTRAS: Alice is a logical, observant type and the chosen one of a god of order, so that might either help or hurt a fusion depending on who it's with. She's also no stranger to having other people in her head!

GEM: Manganocalcite (ring/donut shape, back of neck)
IDEAS: Haruka's had a lot of development in the direction of love, trust, hope, and no more secrets, so she's good for fusions and probably won't look like Body Horror City (though will definitely have some extra body parts, etc. anyway).
EXTRAS: Fair warning here: fusing with Haruka will almost certainly mean access to her memories, and her pre-Cosmos backstory involves child abuse, unreality (both mundane gaslighting and supernatural "this reality was a dream world"), bullying, cults, vehicular trauma, and anything you'd reasonably expect of a murdergame CRAU. I won't bring anything up if you don't want to, so this is to let you know beforehand.

Jaune Arc | RWBY

Character: Jaune Arc
GEM: Pyrite (Fool's Gold)
IDEAS: Defensive abilities or boosting someone's power by fusing with him, Wearing armor -- cause Jaune has a lot of armor going, wouldn't be opposed to extra limbs and I like the idea of his hair getting a streak if the person he's fusing with has different colored hair just cause I think it's cool. Not opposed to his fusion ending up in a skirt or taking on a more femme form (Jaune looks good in a dress and it clearly doesn't bother him)
EXTRAS: He's probably more comfortable with the idea of fusing more so than shape-shifting. He's also a good dancer, so finding that sync would probably not be difficult. Actually he's really friendly, so forming that bond of trust might not be too big of an issue either. He does doubt himself though which might be a problem?

Honestly I'm just super excited for future fusions :)

Amethyst // Steven Universe

GEM: It's in her name...and also in her cleavage.
IDEAS: Well Amethyst's specialties include shape shifting and using her whips. But now she's also got gravity based powers so that's fun? In her previous fusions she's been a blobby bear monster (Kyouko), a four armed fire warrior (Connie) and a ninja (Peridot) As well as Opal and Sugalite. (Pearl and Garnet respectively)
EXTRAS: Amethyst used to be a little more conservative about fusion because of living with Garnet for so long...but now she's had a few under her belt with people that weren't her direct family and she feels better about it. She's enjoyed all her previous fusions.

Harley Quinn // DC Comics

Character: Harley Quinn

GEM: A diamond shaped red Rhodonite gem with black speckles in the small of her back.

IDEAS: Harley's motif is of course clowns, and she comes with glittery bombs, a mallet that can be a pogo stick, and a love of silly cosplay using her shape shifting. So far she's only fused with Ivy into a Harlequin flower themed fusion...unless I'm forgetting someone. I apologize if so.

EXTRAS: Harley is hesitant to fuse because the last time she fused with something it was a massive planet that was trying to assimilate her. She drove it crazy instead and it blew up. She's aware that her madness and Joker obsession runs deep and she wouldn't want to inflict that on someone without trusting them to be strong. She is however intrigued about fusion on a professional level. She wants to see how it can be used as a form of therapy.

Character: Yang Xiao Long
GEM: Fire Agate (Heart Cut, located under her clothes below her bosom)
IDEAS: Yang's motifs involve fire, fire, and more fire. Also light. And more fire.

Being serious, most of Yang's fusions tend to retain her lengthy hair in some way, although whether it stays as vibrantly blonde as her own usually depends on who she's fusing with. One thing I like to keep constant with Yang's fusions is that they are asymmetrical in some way, often in their attire but this could also extend to limbs or facial features in some way.

Yang has draconic imagery associated with her which can come through in her fusions either in the form of fire or dragon-like attributes. Most of her fusions tend to be "beautiful" albeit sometimes in an unconventional sense. Her gem weapons are her canon shot-gauntlets (Ember Celica) if you want to use them to inspire the fusion's gem weapon.

...Basically just toss ideas at me, I am super flexible.

EXTRAS: Yang is a very easy person to fuse with provided it's something she wants to do at the time (She will never accidentally fuse with someone, even when dancing. It is always by her choice in some way). She can sync with most people fairly quickly since she is naturally pretty go-with-the-flow. And because her mindset is generally based in the present she's a very good partner for people with memories they don't want dug around in. She's not going to go rooting around in other people's heads, even subconsciously, so unless something specifically prompts or triggers certain memories, the fusion shouldn't suffer any feedback issues. She's also a good fusion partner for characters concerned about "losing themselves" to a fusion, because Yang, above all, prefers herself as herself. Fusion is just a cheap tactic-...wait, no wrong quote. Fusion, to her, is a combat strategy and/or a way to goof off for a bit, but when everything is said and done, she's going to want her own body back thanks very much. So unless someone's will is stronger than hers, she'll eventually end the fusion.

Pyrrha Nikos | RWBY

GEM: Lodestone (Magnetite)
IDEAS: Pyrrha has some latent leaf manipulation powers that haven't quite manifested yet, but it could perhaps in a fusion? She also has magnetism, as well as three different kinds of weapons to offer. Physically, she'd contribute red, gold, and black colors to the fusion.
EXTRAS: Pyrrha has fused all of once in her entire time in Waverly Bay, and she's not in too much of a hurry to do it again. But I wouldn't mind someone trying to show her that not all fusions end poorly either that or just have her fusions constantly unstable forever because issues *shot*

I think we've been plotting this on and off since I even brought Jaune here XDb

So far all I know is I have been picturing their fusion in battle armor, Pyrrha's crown, and the long hair/pony tail -- but maybe it's blonde ponytail with a red streak in it.

I was also thinking maybe their weapon could be two shields with spikes on it so maybe it looks like a sun or something? And they can throw them like spikey death Frisbees And I know we were talking about the gem fusion being either Carnelian or Red calcite. Carnelian sounds pretty though so I'm leaning towards that one for aesthetic reasons.

And no, it's not like I think about this all the time, what gave you that idea

IDEAS: Well, Darin has an extra half of a soul that belongs to the Lord of all Archfiends and he's been suppressing that power for twenty years soooo...that power will use any excuse it can to get out and go absolutely bananas. Depending on who he's fused with, this could be good or bad.
EXTRAS: Darin knows what he is and he's also terrified of anyone else actually finding out. Accidental fusions might be unlikely but NOT impossible! I'm up for anything, really and I love coming up with fusion concepts.

Daniel Kanegem | OC

Character: Daniel Kanegem
GEM: Rhodochrosite, shield cut, solar plexus chakra position
IDEAS: Daniel's fusions tend to either have fewer arms or MORE arms than the norm, for whichever reason. This doesn't really stop him from being able to use "hands" though, because hey MAGIC.

Flight is a constant power, with or without wings. Wind is a secondary power. Blades tend to feature, the more the better, with a light focus on armor and shields. They tend to be more animalistic in form (in the furry/anthropomorphic sort of way rather than out and out animals), with leanings towards weasels, wolves, or birds. Fusions with Daniel also tend to get a mask of some kind, but not always.
EXTRAS: CHARACTERS WITH DARKER PASTS BEWARE or not, Daniel has PTSD and survivor's guilt, and past fusions have fallen apart because of his mind bleeding over too much. He can hold it back, especially with practice, but it's worse depending on how heavy the other character's problems are.

...Of course, if that's no problem with you then it's no problem with me >.>

Blake Belladonna | RWBY

Character: Blake Belladonna
GEM: Hematite, shaped like the outline of her symbol, base of the spine
IDEAS: Blake's fusions are going to be speed-focused, with a blend of blades and guns. The blade'll take preference, depending on the way it mixes with the other person's weapon.

They'll also have a feline sort of edge to them, but you didn't hear that from me.
EXTRAS: Blake being awesome, just because.

Velvet | Katamari Damacy

GEM: Ametrine, faceted to resemble a six-petaled flower, on her forehead.
IDEAS:
* Given how frequently she floats around with her legs... well, simply not there, it's entirely possible that could carry over into a fusion. Which wouldn't bother her so long as said fusion could remain in the air, but could be a major adjustment for others.
* Her personal aesthetic leans towards the 'elegant' and 'mystical'. Whether or not she'd manage to achieve that is another thing entirely.
* This also carries over into her dancing style. She's a huge fan of graceful, sweeping movements.
* ...And may, quite frankly, have a penchant for dramatic flair.
EXTRAS: Velvet has yet to actually attempt fusion with anyone, having certain reservations about the idea. That said, she's not entirely adverse to the thought... though unfortunately, she currently sits in the camp that views it more as a way to make weaker Gems stronger. And she very much considers herself to be a weaker Gem. So that's an obvious 'In' with her, which might even make her receptive to trying fusion with somebody she's not necessarily close to... in the right conditions, anyway. Without an outside incentive to press the issue, well...

Ichigo | Katamari Damacy

GEM: Star Ruby cabochon, on the back of her left hand.
IDEAS:
* Thus far, all of Ichigo's fusions have had their own distinctive names rather than going by their gems. That may be Ichi's strong feelings about individuality seeping through.
* Her asterism also carried through into Ichizaka/Black Star Sapphire and Gardenia/Rose Quartz, but not with Darcie/Mystic Twilight Topaz.
* Ichi's got a pretty wide variety of powers to potentially draw from. There's fire magic, her battle fans (which she can summon multiple copies of), strawberry-centered florakinesis, flight, the ability to manifest ribbon-like trails of light while flying, size-shifting...
* Personality-wise, she brings a lot of passion and drive in, and that tends to translate to her fusions having strong personalities as well.
* Tends to bring in a youthful aesthetic, and fusions may turn out physically smaller than one would expect.
EXTRAS: Ironically, the first time Ichigo fused with two of her partners, it was completely by accident. (In Gardenia's case, it could have been accidental as well, but they noticed in time and decided to continue on their own initiative.) She's not somebody who really seeks out fusions, but she hasn't had any awful experiences with it yet. Yet.

GEM: Amethyst
IDEAS: Fusions with her: your character but a shitty purple palette swap. (I don't actually know exactly what fusion with her would be like atm but on the other hand that's too easy to pass up look at that color coordination.)

She currently has flight as her only unique power (though she may be gaining new ones at some point soon?) and her weapon is a rapier.
EXTRAS: She's curious about fusion in general but nervous to try it.

GEM: Astrophyllite
IDEAS: Marla's weapon is a godawful oculus rift visor thing that acts more as a shield/focus for her powers, so have fun with that. Fusions with her will also probably tend to look pretty androgynous and be more tactical/dexterity focused than outright physically strong as all of her powers apart from the exploding plushies are support/analysis-based, although to what degree is largely dependent on the other person's personality.

Might also be somewhat glass cannony.
EXTRAS: She's pretty chill with fusing so the most part, so I don't really anticipate too many hangups. Other than that...

IDEAS: Blooky's gem weapon is a chainsaw, so have fun with that. Other potential ideas for how the fusion would look include: translucence/ability to phase through things, top hats, headphones, any combination of the three. Like Marla, fusions are probably going to be on the androgynous side as far as appearance goes.
EXTRAS: The only person they've fused with before is Mettaton, and tbh they're going to be...pretty shy about fusing with anyone else. Nothing traumatic happened, it's just...well, that's how Blooky rolls.

They might need a little encouragement.
