Character: Kaneki Ken
GEM: Pietersite
IDEAS: Kaneki's already got the power of quick regeneration from wounds and danger sense under his belt, as well as gem sight that allows him to spot the "auras" of gems and gem monsters, so that could be useful. His already discovered weapon is a flail of sorts as well.
EXTRAS: Kaneki would be very hesitant to EVER fuse with anyone due to the secret he keeps and not wanting anyone to get in his mind and find that out. It would make fusing with him difficult unless you were super close, and even then he'd try very hard to keep most of himself sectioned off. Not impossible to fuse with, of course, just...difficult. And his first fusion is honestly probably going to be accidental because that's just his life.

(Though I really want him to fuse eventually because I haven't gotten to play with it yet...)

also they'd probably have a nervous wreck personality because SECRETS FOREVER plus SECRETS KILLED MY FRIENDS

and their weapon would be friendly fire city because what do you even do crossing a chain flail with a slingshot...

man it seems that the rule of thumb here is that if you're keeping secrets at all then fusing with Kaneki is maybe probably a horrible idea
