That's funny that you bring up the Philosopher's Stone! I actually chose Fire Agate for Yang in part because of it's associations with alchemy and it being rumored to be a Philosopher's Stone. So emphasizing that in some way would be super cool!

And yes, purple. Purple everywhere. Yang likes purple anyway so XD

Ffff, aww it's okay Patchy. Yang leaves a lot of broken hearts behind her. ...Mostly by punching people in the chest but details XD

Is levitation currently the only ability Patchy has? Like does she have a Gem Weapon (revealed or planned, doesn't matter) or other skills?

Just to get an idea of what else their fusion could do or how to combine their styles. :)

Patchy has a rapier as her Gem Weapon but has no other abilities. Uh, yet.

I still have an event thread from the last mod event that I can turn in, though, I think.

That's alright! Most of Yang's abilities are about augmenting her own strength so they'll mesh well with just about anything.

And rofl, my mind immediately jumped to like...an Altair/Assassin Creed-style Hidden Blade type thing (with some kind of gun element because of course) but another idea is just...forgoing a proper weapon entirely and utilizing the explosive shells Ember Celica has to create a sort of make-shift Bullet Hell kind of weapon?

I'm open to just about anything!

Honestly, I am pretty okay with either of those. Although the second one seems really great to me, for obvious reasons. (as much as i love Assassin's Creed gunblade because it is a great idea)

Haha, awesome! What kinda gem do you think they'd form?

I have no idea since it doesn't seem like there's a lot that combine their colors. I thought about Carnelian but it's not purple enough. Though it has a lot of red to it, emphasizing the reddish color of Yang's gem and, well, purple being red+blue. Cacoxenite is one I saw on the page linked somewhere on the premise page, too, which seems a little closer, I think.

Oh man, I just looked up Cacoxenite and I really kinda like it for them? Particularly since it can be found/combined with amethyst and has all these nifty qualities like the promoting of awareness/focus and its regenerative properties.

This works out pretty much perfectly, then! (Especially, since, well, Patchy tends to be very focused.)
