Cause we've all got our secrets.

I sometimes wonder if the only reason I'm here is because I was friends with Steven.

I regret all the people I haven't been able to save.

Stabbing Percy bothered me more than I show.

I wonder if people secretly just find me boring, like they did back home.

Yes, but I mean ME specifically. With others, you can sort of guess why they're here.

So what? There's plenty of people here with no natural powers. Dipper and his family, that ditzy girl with the funny accent, even squid girl. Her only real power was turning into a squid that can't even swim in water. It's like...what's the point?

And even worse are people who had powers and lost em all and are useless now like that vampire chick.

That's true. I should have gotten over it by now, but you know. Anxious sometimes. I'm glad I don't think about that kind of stuff when it matters.

If you don't know, I think you're really interesting and I'm happy you're my friend.

He's a friend, but even if he wasn't it would bother me.

So far. Friends from home are showing up. I'm not sure how worried I should be about that - Waverly Bay is a lot better than where they came from.

The surface? Mostly good. The underground? Not so much. They needed out, badly.

They were upset about being underground?

There was a barrier, sealed by the power of seven souls - it's complicated. Monsters were TRAPPED underground. It's a decent place to live if you aren't TRAPPED there. You know?

I can imagine. Going from one place to another is a lot better than being chained to a place.

That was just how I thought people saw me back home. I didn't have a friend until Steven so, well,I just figured it was how things were with me.
