I called Amethyst a defective. It's still true, gemetically speaking. Sure, she can function as well as a normal amethyst does, but she stayed too long in the ground and is too short.

...I also envy those Crystal Gems because they seem to like and respect each other so much.

Every other Amethyst is as tall as Jasper. Broad shouldered and heavily muscled. You stayed in the ground too long.

Back on Homeworld, you'd be labeled as a defective for life. You might even be forced into a job as a Pearl at best and shattered at worst even despite that you function perfectly for a soldier.
