I could've been a princess of my home world, but I threw it all away on a quest to seize power through intimidation.

Sometimes I still think I shouldn't have been forgiven.

My teacher insisted that the only way to truly lead was to forget power for its own sake and embrace friendship. I thought that was ridiculous.

It took being crushed by its power to see that she was right.

No, but when I turned into a demon I wanted to. I almost did.

I'm still afraid that demon's inside me. That I could become hateful again if I'm not careful.

It was kind of an idiotic move to do that, don't you think? You were too impatient that you had to make everyone fear you in order to get what you want. And look where you ended up.

I ended up in a better place. I'm stronger now than I ever could've been before, and I have friends who love me.

I just wish I hadn't hurt people to get here.

Time travel magic is dangerous. It was forbidden to study...and I'm glad that's one taboo I didn't break. I could've done so much worse.

Wow, that sucks. But eh, it's not the worst. I'm actually totes tryin' to befriend the alternate of a girl who threatened to disembowel me under evil magicks. 'cause you know, it was evil magicks and no point holdin' that against her.

Pretty sure anyone who gets forgiven for something huge like that never thinks they should've been.
