Character: Kanji Tatsumi
GEM: Ocean Jasper
IDEAS: Kanji's aesthetic is 'Beast', so fusions are potentially animalistic, if not pretty dang burly or athletic. His weapon is a summoned throne, which could make for interesting weapons, but there ya go. As for powers, he can currently summon forest creatures.
EXTRAS: He's shy about fusion, but willing to give it a shot slowly but surely. He wants to know the person first. Maybe try to open him up a bit on the whole thing and help him learn that perhaps sharing brainspace wouldn't be terrifying and humiliating, and he'll wanna power up with others. CHOO CHOO.

BUT HE'S A GOOD DANCER, OH YEAH.

I feel like a Don/Naomi fusion would be relatively stable in comparison so most, since they have pony world to relate to, though he does have his own memories he's still kind if holding back on.

Jaune's weapon is a shield -- the shield part of his weapon back home. So to continue the darkness/light thing you could have a weird combination of offense and defense since defense is Jaune's strength.

because if one sits on the other's shoulder, they're only 7 feel tall together? unless it's remi on patchy's shoulder in which case it's "a crumpled pile on the floor"

Walter pretty much knows Yang as "that girl who almost broke my nose" and "that girl with the fists and the yellow" so he would probably conceptualize a battle fusion as something demonish.

Idea: armor/outer features that don't look particularly human, which could disappear/be removed when they know each other better and the fusion has a more developed personality?

Clawed gauntlet + bladed wing weapons.

WAIT NO BETTER IDEA

The fusion itself is actually mostly normal, but the weapon it can summon is HUGE (because they're both aggro as hell) and it's kind of like a draconic battlesuit thing. Kind of like how the snake part here makes up most of this dude's actual body despite not being...his actual body.

As long as it's a Battle Fusion they have no reason not to desummon it.
