TEST DRIVE MEME
Hello and welcome to the COSMOGRAPHIA TEST DRIVE MEME! This is a place where you can get a feel for your character(s) in the game's setting! A couple quick points before we get down to business:
☆ Please take a look at our Premise, World Information, and our FAQ to get a feel for the rules and setting. This is great if you want to see what the game is about before jumping in!
☆ Test Drive threads are certainly allowed to be used for samples for your application, should you choose to submit one!
SAMPLE SCENARIOS:
A: By whatever means, you've tumbled through a hole into a cavernous temple. Gems suspended in bubbles float about the ceiling, and a large Heartlike gem looms before you. Touching it, whether out of curiosity or frustration, will give you some basic information, but then again, there's no guarantee you're just going to walk up to a giant weird thing in the middle of a giant weird room and touch it, right? Why not take a look around and see for yourself what kind of place this is? Perhaps you'll run into someone in the same predicament as you, or perhaps you'll run into someone who can help explain why there's a weird rock now affixed to your body?
B: It's Thursday in Waverly Bay, and that can mean only one thing: the weekly Farmer's Market is here again! Stalls not only from farmers on the outskirts of town but from crafty residents with interesting homemade items to sell, and businesses looking to attract the Market's crowd are all here! Are you shopping for a good deal on vegetables for dinner? Or perhaps you're getting a feel for the residents, having recently arrived? Or, perhaps, are you an industrious gem who's looking to set up shop? Either way, you're bound to run into somebody in this bustling, busy place.
C: Uh-oh! Looks like you've run into a monster! Apparently, from what little you've heard, you can shapeshift into things and pull a weapon from your gem, and you have some sort of special power, but maybe you don't know what it is yet, or you're still not used to using it? Guess you're going to have to learn on the job. Don't leave your fellow gems hanging if you see them fighting one of these little guys either! You're going to need each other to take 'em down!

As- Asriel...
[Chara sinks into him, his fluff, his big goofy sweater. It's been too long.]
aah hi hi
...H...How...? I-I don't...underst-tand...
that feel when 15 icons
[At least, they think that's how it went.]
dude I caved for a paid for that reason
A ghost...
Those are things that...you can't see or feel, aren't they? But Chara, Asriel can do both those things. He can see you. He can feel you. He knows he's not dreaming, how else could his throat feel so tight?
But even so, if that's the case, if Chara is or was just a ghost...then, they still found a hole to come through, didn't they? And the Heart made it so they could come and be here.
He's just going to press his face into your shoulder and try not to sob. Which. Is kind of hard, actually. Golly, he always was such a crybaby.]
I-I...I'm...glad...they don't...
have you seen the "extra icons" post on percy's journal-- im broke lmao
[They've known Asriel for years before their death. They know when something being misinterpreted.]
I mean... we're not like... Napstablook, or-or, uh, [sniff] the ghosts in the dummies. Human ghosts are invisible to everyone except maybe a f-few select people.
[Getting into the wind of explaining is helping to curb their tears.]
When Frisk fell down, I woke up. I was so confused, and scared, and angry, I...
And then I saw you, Azzy.
[..... snort] I can't believe you actually became the Absolute God of Hyperdeath.
[SORRY BUT IT WAS REALLY FUNNY AT THE TIME, CHARA'S PRETTY SURE THAT WAS YOUR OC OR SOMETHING]
1/2 uuuugh lbr so am I
Asriel's eyes widen at first, and he pulls back, arms still around Chara but very, very confused. Chara...had woken up? From being dead? And that made them a ghost, and - ]
2/2
Oooooh butts pie]
Oh my God, Charaaaaaaaa....
Re: 2/2
What? Just because I was dead doesn't mean I forgot about that, Mister Hyperdeath God. I can still name all those attacks you used, too.

Oh no, please, come on...i-it was so dumb of me...
no subject
Ha ha ha, what was with you and rainbows? Seriously, they were everywhere.
At least you had the courtesy to make them pastel.
[If they'd been the standard vibrant colors you see in small crayon and colored pencil boxes, Chara's eyes would have bled out long ago.]
no subject
[Don't you knock on his aesthetic Chara not cool]
no subject
You couldn't have at least had a theme color, Azzy?

Also, what's the difference between an absolute god and a regular god?
no subject
[Asriel honey no]
no subject
Sorry Asriel but your indignation is really cute and funny.]

It's better than just a plain old god! It's like a god of gods - and hyperdeath!

It's my character, isn't it? They can have whatever name I give them...

[Bad or good isn't really a question; the Absolute God of Hyperdeath is kind of a bad guy. He did a lot of really awful things.]
no subject
Then let's start by changing his name. Something like... huh. The Primordial or something. I'm pretty sure those are bigger and better than gods and titans. What about seraphim?
[Chara no, that's just as nerdy, just with bigger words.]
no subject
[Yeah sorry it's not like he's gotten schooling to go with all those resets.]
