[The first thing Dave can feel is the heat coming from Jane - she is so entirely flustered that she's warm to the touch, even her lips are warm.

She's closed her eyes too, by now, so she hasn't a clue when to expect the kiss - she's tensed, but when it happens, the tension melts. There's a funny flip-flopping feeling in her stomach, and she makes just the tiniest, surprised sound.

Oh gosh. Even this is...kind of nice. Despite the circumstances, kisses are still...nice.]
