Okay, I'm gonna stop you right there before someone walks in and guesses some kind of hentai shit's happening here. [He doesn't actually look bothered by it, though.] I think you're meant to start with the hard details - how many words, how many syllables, that kind of mind-numbingly important information.

Oh! Well it has-

[Jade stops herself before she accidentally says such a vital piece of information. This is supposed to be charades! Instead she gives a sheepish smile and holds up three fingers.]

[That's how this works, right? They get past the words and syllables and then he calls out whatever random shit happens to come to mind at whatever she's doing.

Man, who even invented this game.]

[Jade nods and give him a thumbs up. Then she holds up the number three again, and frames her face like its a box (not unlike she did shortly after going god tier). This is followed by her fake "ooh"ing and "aah"ing, and looking very excited, though miraculously she manages to not let any noise slip.]

Mindless plebs. Paparazzi, fans, slavering masses, stardom, fame, television, modelling...tell me I'm somewhere within like ten ballparks of something here.

[He's listed so many random things he's not sure how he couldn't be, but still.]

[She perks up a bit at television then frowns when he moves to modeling. Okay, something different then! She holds up a hand near her eye, clutching something invisible that she seems to be peering through. Then she looks around and, with a small grin, walks to get a close up of him.]

[Well, he catches it, at least.]

So something about television. Film? Camera? Hand-telescope? Is there a movie with that in the name because if not there totally should be.

[As soon as he says "movie" she actually starts bouncing on the balls of her feet, pointing at him and nodding rapidly. So close!]

What, movie? Is that it or did I miss it by like half an inch?

[YOU'RE BOUNCING AND POINTING AT HIM HE'S NOT SURE WHAT TO THINK.]

[She nods rapidly. Yes, it's movie!

With that settled, she holds up the number two again and then is back to wiggling her fingers under her chin. She accompanies this with a winning smile, bobbing her head a bit like she's listening to some sort of unheard music.]

Second word...

[Okay he's. Still really confused about this one.]

Something about beards. Or tentacles. Or tentacle beards, because that would probably be awesome. Tentacle-bearded bros having a dance party.

[He has no fucking idea honestly but THIS TANGENT SURE IS A THING.]

[Well. He's not really wrong about any of that, but he doesn't seem to be close to getting the word, either. Jade takes a moment to think about her next move, ending her tentacle beard for now.

After some consideration, Jade's eyes light up. She mimes putting on lipstick, and then acts as though she's placing something over her head. It's going a little off topic, but hopefully not for too long!]

[Well, it's closer to earth, he supposes.]

Make up, dress up...I hope this isn't a chick flick or someone's street cred is going to be seriously shot by the end of this.

[Jade shakes her head to all of that - totally off track. But she hasn't given up on this clue yet! She starts miming a few other activities - using one hand to mime writing into her other hand, bringing her two hands together to act like she's knitting, and then finishing it off by putting on a somewhat haughty expression and moving her lips as though she's talking excessively.]

[Welp. They might be here a while on this one.]

Gossip, clique, catty old ladies bawling each other out over knitting...starting to wonder if breaking whatever this is into syllables wouldn't work better. Unless I scored something close that time.

[No! Totally off track! Jade shakes her head and crosses her arms, trying to think... and she's got something! Though if Davesprite still doesn't get it after all of this, then she'll probably need to change course entirely.

She brings one hand up near her shoulder, as though she's holding something over her shoulder, then adjusts her chin as though placing it on the object, and she uses her other hand to do slow motions back and forth - she's playing an invisible stringed instrument.]

[Why do all these things seem totally unrelated. Why.]

Strings, bow, violin - or viola, like hell I actually know - musician, artist...am I even in the same universe as you here or have we just irrevocably split topics to lightyears apart?

[She points and nods at "violin," and then she's back to a mime she did earlier - putting on lipstick and putting something onto her head, like a headband.]

Uh. Preparing, getting ready? You're gonna have to cut me some slack here, you've gone so many different angles on this I'm not even sure which way's up anymore.

Rose! All of that is Rose!

[Jade immediately clamps her hands over her mouth as soon as that slips out - but seriously! How else was he going to get it?]

Um. That's not the actual word, though. It's just part of a different clue.

Rose? We're playing charades, dude, not Guess Who.

[In retrospect it makes sense, but he's never had a charades game where someone's gone from that angle rather than miming the actual word.]

Well, if it's not the actual word then it's not like you messed up the round or anything, so it's cool.

It seemed like a good way to get to the word though!

[Okay, but now she's done talking for real. Back to the clues! She does the lipstick thing again, just to reiterate that they are still talking about Rose here, and then she points directly at her chest.]

[Okay, this one he can probably nail.]

One of Rose's symbols? So that'd make it...some kind of octopus thing, a skull, the sun or light or whatever, or the Derse crescent moon.

[Look at all his dumb minutiae game knowledge.]

[Jade nods, and once he's listed all of those, she holds up one finger - the first was the closest! Then she's back to that mime from the beginning: the tentacle-beard with a very big smile on her face.]

Uh. Okay. Cthulhu or kraken stuff is kinda the first thing that comes to mind because tentacle beards aren't really that wide in my repertoire. Unless you're going for that one version of Davy Jones from those pirate movies. That I could probably dig.
