Harley Quinn // DC Comics

Character: Harley Quinn

GEM: A diamond shaped red Rhodonite gem with black speckles in the small of her back.

IDEAS: Harley's motif is of course clowns, and she comes with glittery bombs, a mallet that can be a pogo stick, and a love of silly cosplay using her shape shifting. So far she's only fused with Ivy into a Harlequin flower themed fusion...unless I'm forgetting someone. I apologize if so.

EXTRAS: Harley is hesitant to fuse because the last time she fused with something it was a massive planet that was trying to assimilate her. She drove it crazy instead and it blew up. She's aware that her madness and Joker obsession runs deep and she wouldn't want to inflict that on someone without trusting them to be strong. She is however intrigued about fusion on a professional level. She wants to see how it can be used as a form of therapy.

At some point we should have this happen so that Harley can see more of what her other self did to him. But they've already hashed it out so there's no hurry.

Character: Yang Xiao Long
GEM: Fire Agate (Heart Cut, located under her clothes below her bosom)
IDEAS: Yang's motifs involve fire, fire, and more fire. Also light. And more fire.

Being serious, most of Yang's fusions tend to retain her lengthy hair in some way, although whether it stays as vibrantly blonde as her own usually depends on who she's fusing with. One thing I like to keep constant with Yang's fusions is that they are asymmetrical in some way, often in their attire but this could also extend to limbs or facial features in some way.

Yang has draconic imagery associated with her which can come through in her fusions either in the form of fire or dragon-like attributes. Most of her fusions tend to be "beautiful" albeit sometimes in an unconventional sense. Her gem weapons are her canon shot-gauntlets (Ember Celica) if you want to use them to inspire the fusion's gem weapon.

...Basically just toss ideas at me, I am super flexible.

EXTRAS: Yang is a very easy person to fuse with provided it's something she wants to do at the time (She will never accidentally fuse with someone, even when dancing. It is always by her choice in some way). She can sync with most people fairly quickly since she is naturally pretty go-with-the-flow. And because her mindset is generally based in the present she's a very good partner for people with memories they don't want dug around in. She's not going to go rooting around in other people's heads, even subconsciously, so unless something specifically prompts or triggers certain memories, the fusion shouldn't suffer any feedback issues. She's also a good fusion partner for characters concerned about "losing themselves" to a fusion, because Yang, above all, prefers herself as herself. Fusion is just a cheap tactic-...wait, no wrong quote. Fusion, to her, is a combat strategy and/or a way to goof off for a bit, but when everything is said and done, she's going to want her own body back thanks very much. So unless someone's will is stronger than hers, she'll eventually end the fusion.

Okay, but would a Yang/Jaune fusion basically just be Jaune's mom? Or, oh god, one of his sisters. XDXD

But seriously, I would be down for these two fusing some time.

they're bickering the entire time but manage to stay together for the amount of time it takes to defeat the monster and not a second more (comes with experience having people argue in your head)

Yeah, they're obviously not Malachite levels of toxic, but their relationship is pretty much entirely deep disrespect for the other's fundamental values, so I figure it would be like

they'd be a cold kind of terrifying instead of ARGH RARGH, all sharp edges and ripping the enemy to pieces and then immediately poofing once they're not sufficiently distracted from the fact of their own existence.

What's Remi's weapon of choice? We can figure out a fused weapon.

THE BLONDENING.

They would be super cute though! Yang currently has enough confidence for both of them so her half should hopefully balance out any of his self-doubt. And it...occurs to me that Yang has yet to fuse with a guy so that'd be an adventure. (It's okay, she trusts you, Jaune, just don't make this weird XDXDXD).

And hmmm, yeah their weapons are a tad...tricky to combine. Perhaps something like a smaller, rounder shield that they can sorta rocket at opponents? It'd be Captain America but with a rocket launcher behind it. XD

I read your post too -- I think it'd be cool to have one eye blue and one purple (cause you mentioned being asymmetrical. I was actually thinking of keeping Yang's glorious figure -- just maybe smaller boobs? Unless you wanted to have more male features and have Yang be the one that's a little weirded out.

I was thinking something similar actually! Or like make it's like that kid's toy that shoots out frisbee discs -- but of course this is actually a weapon and would hurt. And then of courses the discs could be on fire!

Ooo, I love the one purple eye and one blue eye idea! And yeah their fusion would probably be a little less...top heavy. XDXD Yang might get a little weirded out after the fact over a more masculine form but probably no more so than a "Well...that was a thing". XD I'd definitely be up for keeping Yang's lovely figure for their fusion though! They do both look good in a dress!

Yang actually makes a habit of not poking around in people's memories if she can help it, especially now that she's got a pretty good handle on how fusion works so Remi need not worry there!

Bat-dragon woman makes me think of the rebooted Maleficent. ...Which would be pretty awesome for a fusion ngl.
