Waverly Bay has a variety of locations and businesses befitting a seaside town. Perhaps your character has gotten employment at one of these lovely establishments, or they've set up their own business, OR they just don't give a darn about working for money when they could just steal/mooch off the temple fund/etc.

Well, whatever they do, tell us about it! Meet the coworkers you never knew you had! Make collaborations with other entrepreneurs! Find a place for your character to work if you're not sure where they get all their money from!

Jane Crocker

Jane is currently running her own baking business out of her room. While she does not have a permanent storefront in town like she's dreaming of, she does set up a stand in the Plaza or out on the boardwalk at least once a week, and offers deliveries and order service. She has a few employees, but more are always welcome!

Thida

Thida works odd jobs at the Farmer's Market, which happens every Thursday. From carting around boxes to hawking vegetables to watching a stall owner's unruly toddler, she will do just about anything and accept money, food, and trinkets as payment. She's not picky.

Adachi usually just has his shadows do odd jobs (usually manual labour) so that he doesn't have to do shit.

He has a shadow delivery service on the side though and they're pretty familiar with all the food places now because Adachi sends them regularly for his own food, so if you need anything brought to the temple or delivered to someone else hit him up yo. He takes orders in person or in his IC inbox.

Blake works at the thrift store, at least a few days every week. She generally covers whatever shifts they need her to and totally isn't there mostly for all the books she can take home.

Ichigo

Ichigo's main source of income is selling strawberries and strawberry products, like jellies and jams. She tends to refer to Jane for advice on pricing and such a lot.

Connie works for Jane, has ever since Jane started her operation! She's learned a lot since then, and uses some of that experimentation to help make some tasty treats!

On times when she can, she tries to intern for Rarity too!

Daniel Kanegem

Daniel's self-employed, occasionally setting up a smaller version of his jewelry/trinkets stall from the New Year's festival near the temple or, more often, paying for a place at the Farmer's Market. Since they're all handmade items the looks are unique and depend on whatever he scrounges up. He also takes commissions.

Chris Kratt

Chris is a jobless bum He typically helps around with Fluttershy and her business, though I've toyed with the idea of having him pick up a job at the pet store.

Shun Kurosaki

Shun still works at the pet shop as he has for pretty much the entire time he's been here (he will perservere despite the inappropriateness of the store name for anything involving him while I laugh quietly in the background).

Roland Deschain

Now that we definitely have a forest Roland has been hunting! He sells his hauls at the farmers market, offering meat (usually deer, various birds and rabbits) as well as goods made from their skins, feathers and bones. His stitching isn't the prettiest but he knows his way around a hide and would be open to taking commissions for clothing or bone-based jewelry and weapons. He already made Ford a deer jaw knife. You know you want one too!

Naomi works at the clinic. Well, works as a receptionist for the clinic since she can't immediately prove her credentials. Of course, she's willing to take their tests and wooould ace them. It's kinda something I should clear up with the mods maybe. ANYWAY yeah, working at clinic, but not exactly as the doctor. Though, she is available to doctor anyone who needs it. Probably not gems, but she'll save people a helicopter flight in-land.

Velvet

Currently, Velvet isn't employed. She may end up taking a few part-time hours over at NebulEuros somewhere down the line. Right now, though, establishing that registry of all the bubbled Gems and getting 'caught up' to the point where she can feel more comfortable not concentrating on that full-time takes precedence.

Blooky rounded up all the snails from other people's garden plots and now has a...more or less functioning snail farm? They're probably going to start selling snails soonish and are mostly getting money from the temple fund and...IDK, maybe Mettaton?

Blooky needs a part-time job to keep them occupied because snails don't really require a lot of maintenance.

So ducks apparently eat snails. Haruka might get some and see if Meringue will eat them.

Marla

Marla works at NebelEuros part-time where she makes people coffee/other drinks and does other miscellaneous things, as one does.

The only talent Marla has that really translates into physical objects she can sell is knitting/crochet/various other textile crafts, as well as using her item crafting power to make things that are more difficult for her to do by hand. She has a stall at the Farmer's Market the second and fourth Thursday of each month where she sells (usually Pokemon-related) trinkets and accessories, as well as things like dorky T-shirts and pajama bottoms. That said, she's open to commissions if your character wants anything specific. (She also can spin if she has fibers, though that hasn't come up.)

As a side note, she almost always gets fish and chips after work at the first opportunity, so anyone who works at or frequents there is free to have seen her and her Ampharos.

Saigusa Haruka

Haruka has put up flyers around town advertising her miscellaneous repair services. SHSL Repair Girl fixes everything from fences to flowerbeds, and she might remind you that she also dissected a robot once. Unless you are one; that'd be awkward.

Alice Smith

Alice is too young to get many work hours, but she's a page at the town library. She'll probably come bother you when you're in there.

Mettaton

Mettaton's unfortunately unemployed. How sad.

But he's got a variety of skills he can lend, like cooking and looking pretty! He's also planning on asking around or setting up fliers for a possible talent troupe for those dramatically or musically inclined in the city! Because he longs to be on the stage as much as he can.

King Baby works at the cafe, NebulEuros, because he loves coffee and also Kaneki works there. He only works in human form at the moment because it's apparently difficult to be a functioning employee when you're the size of a stuffed animal. I still have an open cafe post if anyone wants to do anything with him there!

Incidentally, he's mostly working so he can save up money to help build a farm. So...he got a job to lay out the plans for another...job. No one say Komasan isn't a hard worker.

Besides that, Komasan is also an amazing sculptor at absurd degrees, so if he ever got the right kind of motivation he could sell little clay statues for people.

WALTER IS...unemployed, and makes money through occasional odd jobs and selling things he picks up off the ocean floor as neat little trinkets.

He only spends his money on luxuries now and then because he takes full advantage of the eating situation and other perks of being a gem to avoid needing to spend money on what would usually be necessities. HE...ALSO SOMETIMES nags locals about all the monster-killing he does until he finds someone who thinks that's worth giving him free stuff.

Because he does do a lot of chasing down corrupted gems.

'Wreck-It' Ralph

Ralph does miscellaneous jobs around the town, usually involving lifting, carrying, and transporting heavy or large numbers of items.

Emmet is currently jobless because like heck can he finds a job when it takes him five minutes to walk across a normal-sized room.

However once he learns how to human he's probably going to try construction working since he's a horrible hypocrite who apparently didn't learn his lesson

Pyrrha actually works two part-time jobs; one at Mary-Ann's Fabric and Fashion and the other at BoxBomber Movie Rentals. She actually started working at BoxBomber's first, and actually enjoys it a bit more. But she works at Mary-Ann's because they approached her, asking her to help model some of their wear from time to time.

Fluttershy

Fluttershy runs her own little business pet-sitting for those at Waverly Bay who need their animal (or plant...or rock *shot*) companion looked after for a while. She also occasionally helps out at the pet store, if asked to help out with the animals there.

Robin

Robin works at The Motherboard: Electronics Store. He's mostly in charge of fixing any broken electronics, but on slow days he might be seen using his Item Creation power to upgrade any tech he can get his hands on.

Karkat Vantas

Karkat works over at Cod 'n' Spuds, where they apparently have use for a guy who yells a lot and whose hands light on fire when he's mad, because it helps push in the message that no you idiots we do not sell anything but fish and chips. (He's polite so long as they stick to the menu.)

Blame Elaine, she was the one who suggested it to me when I was trying to think what to have him do. I really couldn't refuse. (I mean, who else is going to hire an asshole with a hair trigger temper and anger-induced hand fires?)

Percy Jackson

Percy works at a local fishery, working to haul in the sea's spoils. Sure, he's son of the sea and he's supposed to be protecting the fish, but this isn't his ocean and it's one of the only jobs he has proficiency in. The Greek pantheon doesn't rule here. Not only that, but his recent, uh, sort-a trip back into Tartarus made him sort of numb to this stuff. At least the fish don't talk in his head here. Thank god.

Unfortunately unemployed, but she's delving into the art of astrophysics and poetry..... which again isn't very useful in the means of jobs for a small beachside town. However, I might get her into discovering shapeshifting and working at the cafe NebulEuros. Or something, I dunno how to spell that name.

Sans

He sells hotdogs at a stations surprisingly well-built, which also happens to resemble a sentry sttion for some odd reason. Boy does he make a mean hotdog, and just as well, since he actually doesn't put much effort into making them, it just sorta happens. Sometimes they're hot cats. Sometimes they're actually just water sausages. The location of his stand changes every once in a while too, mysteriosly enough.

Yang Xiao Long

Yang works at the Sup All Nite diner as a waitress. Because the diner is open 24/7, Yang pulls a variety of shifts so you could conceivably run into her at any time on any day of the week. ...She tends to make very good tips. She's also usually the first to intervene if she catches a customer being exceptionally rude to the other wait staff though so it's probably best to mind your manners if you see her waiting tables.
