[A child, nine or ten at best, carefully steps out of the hole and tumbles to the floor as it shuts behind her. With a small "ow," she pulls herself to her feet and brushes off her somewhat dated-looking dress. She picks her hat off the floor where it's landed and looks around, confused...]

Sharon? Val? ...Diane?

[The farmer's market isn't as big as the ones she's used to in the big city, but for a lost child from 1963, it still instills a bit of trepidation. Careful not to touch anything, she looks in awe at the food and clothes, drawing closer to a scarf. She stops when she notices the price tag and tilts her head to the side.]

Thirty-two dollars? Do things really cost that much in the future?

[D]

[Melody was just checking out the community gardens, noting all the plants and making sure there weren't any weeds or other problems. Nothing was supposed to go wrong. She stops cold and slowly turns around at a sound, where a Strawberry Spider has started lumbering up towards her.

Her hands go to her throat and she stares up, shaking and rooted to the ground.

Someone help.]
