Although...a Dipper and Steven pairing COULD be possible...they'd have to be aged up of course, so its not weird. Maybe you could have them meet at the Big Doughnut, Dipper's working on an investigation that takes him to Beach City, and maybe he meets Steven there, and they bond, and its the same day of Beachapalooza, and he sees Steven perform, but then there's a GEM monster and when they go to fight it they lock eyes and...
